Naturopathy
Naturopathy treats the body as a whole, integrated system with the least intervention possible. This is achieved through identifying and removing factors that are contributing to imbalance, and establishing a foundation for health where the body’s intrinsic self-healing capacity is stimulated through principles of healthy living and natural medicines. From there, a higher order of personal vitality can be built.
As a Naturopath, I am passionate about merging current scientific research with the wisdom of traditional evidence, as well as my clinical experience to inform my practice.
My areas of interest include:
Anxiety, mental health, stress, adrenal burn out, exhaustion, sleep issues, fatigue states, depletion, food sensitivities, allergies, plant-based nutrition, addiction/withdrawal syndromes, gentle detoxification and holistic sports nutrition for elite athletes.
My books are currently closed for new patients

Consultations
Initial Appointment 75min $220
Initial consults may be arranged online via Zoom or in-person. This is where all the important information regarding your symptoms, past medical history, lifestyle and diet is gathered, and where your health goals and how we can achieve them is discussed.
I will also do a physical examination to get a better understanding of your health and constitution, and review any recent blood or functional testing that you may provide.
From there you will be sent a personalised treatment plan within 24-48 hours, which will contain your treatment goals, actionable dietary and lifestyle recommendations, along with any herbal/supplemental prescriptions that might be suggested.
*Note: Additional fees apply to any prescriptions or functional testing required.
Follow up Appointment 45min $150
Follow up consults are essential to check in with how you are progressing with the treatment direction. I may also have the opportunity to assess any additional blood or functional testing and share any research I have found that is specific to your case. I may adjust our treatment plan and prescription depending on how you are progressing, or if new findings are revealed.
I usually recommend a minimum of 2 follow up appointments after an initial to ensure you are making progress and feel supported. Keeping in mind the number of follow ups required is highly individual and is dependant on how chronic and/or complex your health condition/symptoms are.
I employ a range of non-invasive techniques into my treatments including…
Holistic Nutrition
Naturopathy views food as medicine, because food is so much more than simply calories and macronutrients, it has the power to nourish and heal our bodies! Much of this innate wisdom has been lost amongst advancements in food science, medicine, technology and an ever growing “I’m too busy” mindset. However, if we want to truly heal and thrive in this life, we must reconnect to the power of natural, whole foods. Part of my approach is to understand a clients constitution, which allows me to re-educate them around what foods and nutrients help support for their unique body and life stage.
Herbal Medicine
Herbal medicine is the oldest system of medicine, which utilises medicinal plants, and relies on both traditional and scientific research. In fact, many modern pharmaceuticals have been derived from chemical compounds found in a plant, such as the medication Digoxin derived from foxglove and Aspirin from willow bark. Therapeutic activity of a plant is due to its complex chemical nature, which is of interest within the scientific community. Using these medicinal plants may provide a natural option for healing and can be tailored to a clients needs.
Lifestyle Counselling
Naturopathy recognises there can be various psycho-emotional components to symptoms and disease, which makes lifestyle counselling one of the most important elements of practice. It involves a collaborative effort between client and practitioner to come up with a treatment plan that the client can realistically start integrating into their life. Lifestyle counselling provides guidance with mindfulness, goal setting, affirmations, journaling, exercise and relaxation techniques.
Flower Essence Therapy
One of my favourite ways to help address the emotional and energetic layers of symptoms and disease is using flower essence therapy. Ninety-five percent of our thoughts and behaviours come from our subconscious mind. The subconscious mind is like a data-bank for everything that is not in your conscious mind. It stores your beliefs, your previous experience, your memories and your skills. Flower essences work to reprogram limiting beliefs that may be holding you back from healing and progressing forward in your life.
Iridology
Iridology is the study of the iris, and just like markings on a map, eyes can reveal a great depth of detail around ones current state of health along with inherent tissue strengths and challenges. I love using Iridology to better understand the constitution and bio-individuality of a client. Though it should never be used as a stand-alone diagnostic technique, it is an incredibly useful screening tool to use alongside thorough case-taking to detect inherent individual predispositions and potential health vulnerabilities in their earliest stages.
Diagnostic Testing
Often times it can be difficult to investigate and pin point underlying imbalances in the body through case taking and physical examination alone, this is where diagnostic testing comes in! I can interpreting simple pathology tests, as they are an affordable way to gain deeper insight into the state of ones health. I also offer a range of functional testing through Interclinical Laboratories, Microba and NutriPATH, that can allow me to further understand underlying biochemical factors. I address clients on an individual basis, and will discuss testing options as they become clinically relevant.
